Most of our sgian dhus have real blades, with the exception of the dummy or children's ones. They are of TOP quality and should be worn as part of a complete Highland Outfit. The literal translation of this is 'black knife' and although originally hidden in the folds of the tartan, these are now worn normally down the right sock. These make ideal gifts for someone who already owns their own kilt. They are not used for much more than stirring your tea however, but they are proper knives, with the blade having a serrated edge. A good range of these is available from stock.
